THE PROJECT:

This was a large project for Hub Southeast Scotland in conjunction with Morrison Construction which featured the construction of 3 new Schools and 1 shared Sports & Wellbeing Hub, this was completed in November 2021.

The roofing works mainly consisted of the design, manufacture, and installation of 7500m² of Kalzip Roofing, including gutters and downpipes and a mixture of felt and hot melt was applied to the 100m² of plant and terrace areas. The wall cladding was over 3000m² of a Q9 developed rainscreen system which was installed to the 3 Schools.

This was a large project which required Q9 to employ over 50 staff at its peak and required Q9 to manage and work on several areas at one time.
